Applications Red Lead Oxide (Pb3O4)
- Red lead is mainly used in batteries, also in fireworks for oxidants and catalysts
- In the paint industry, used as an anti-rust pigment
- In the glass industry, for improving the optical properties and radiation protection.
- In enamel industry, as a flux to reduce the melting point of glaze, surface tension and viscosity, to improve the gloss of products
It is also plays a role in foundry core making and ferrite, which is used by the electronic industries.
